KIA ORA AND WELCOME

Matamata Primary School is located in the heart of the Waikato, a town overlooked by the Kaimai Ranges and surrounded by rivers that flow through rolling green hills. Here we have created a nurturing environment that enables our children to learn and prosper across all aspects of education and development. Our guiding principles centre on our motto ‘Endeavour, Achieve Excel – Tohenga, Taea, Tino Hira. BALLOT 1 2026 - 31 JANUARY 2026 AT 12 NOON

Our first ballot for the year for ‘Out of Zone’ students will be held on Friday 31 January 2026. We have limited spaces available for the following;

NE/Y0 (turning 5 after 28 April 2026) - 10 spaces

Y1 (turning 5 between 1 January and 28 April) - 2 spaces

Y4 - 5 spaces - No spaces available for Y2, Y3, Y5 or Y6

Ballot forms are available from the school office and MUST be returned by 12 noon 31 JANUARY along with a copy of your child’s birth certificate.

Cookietime orders

Cookietime order pick up is TOMORROW, Wednesday, December 10 from 2.30pm to 3.10pm in the Piwakawaka Room (the black huts next to the school hall). If you’ve ordered cookies, please make sure you collect them tomorrow.

SCHOOL LEADER PICK UP
