BOARD OF TRUSTEES

The overall governance of Matamata Primary School is the responsibility of the Board of Trustees. The Board is made up of an elected group, who are responsible for the strategic direction and overall administration of the school, rather than the operational day to day duties. As a Board we are focussed on the purpose of our organisation, our strategic course, improving performance and managing risk.

The Board of Trustees meets twice a term in week 4 and week 8. Meetings are advertised in the school newsletter. Parents and caregivers are invited to attend as observers at these meetings.
